Melissa and James - A Love so strong

I had the pleasure of marrying Melissa and James on the 1st of February 2020 in the beautiful chapel at While it was an incredibly hot day and the lads were out the back with their coats off until the very last minute, the heat dissipated as Melissa followed her five besties into the chapel. Playing for the girls as they walked down the aisle was “Perfect” by Fairground Attraction. Melissa chose “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.

James grin relayed what we were all thinking “wow” Melissa looked stunning!

More than100 family and friends gathered to share the celebration of their wedding day and to witness the strength of their love.

They are one! Solid in friendship and love, with a strong commitment to family, that they will never give up on.

Sharing their commitment with their children, with a messy and fun sand ceremony.

Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into their individual containers, over time the sand will move and shift but can never separate, so will become the bond of your family.

From this day forth, you shall be more than one couple or individuals - you shall be a loving and united family.

You are a family drawn together by love and held together by devotion.

Your sand is sealed at the top and bottom, with the sand from each of you, and from today your relationship and your family are sealed in marriage.

The Ceremony was fun and light-hearted with a little tradtion added into the mix, as Melissa and James requested, there were touching moments, a happy tear or two, special looks of love. A beautiful ceremony that will be remembered.

After the ceremony family and friends celebrated the wedding in the stunning Starlight Room at Tamborine Gardens Wedding Resort. Dancing the night away with tunes played by

Special thanks to for sharing some of the fab photos from this special day.
